The League of Women Voters of Wilmette candidate forum for the April 4th, 2017 election was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Voters Guide for April 2017 Election

Candidates are permitted a maximum of 1000 words to answer five questions posed by the League. They may allocate that word limit in their discretion, focusing on some questions more than others or entirely skipping a question.
Candidates running unopposed were invited to participate, but in some cases did not do so.

Voter Registration

To be eligible to vote in the Consolidated Election, residents must be registered by 4:30pm, Tuesday, March 7th. Residents who are not already registered or have moved or changed their name may register to vote at the Village Hall, 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. If you miss the voter registration deadlines, you may still register to vote during the grace period of March 8th to April 3rd, however, registration locations are limited. Please contact the Cook County Clerk's Office at 312-603-0906 or http://www.cookctyclerk.com for locations.

Early and Absentee Voting

Residents who wish to vote early may do so from March 20th to April 3rd at Centennial Park, 2300 Old Glenview Rd. Poll will be open, except Sunday, March 26, from 9-5 daily. Other locations for early voting can be found at the Cook County Clerk's website at http://www.cookctyclerk.com.
Voters may also vote absentee by mail by downloading a mail ballot application at the Cook County Clerk's website at http://www.cookctyclerk.com.
